We have been RVing for 2 month now. We loved the beautiful highway 395, the majestic Eastern Sierra is out of this world!
We are now in San Diego and will be here for few more weeks before heading up to Zion and Bryce, then to CO, NE, SD….. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at Hart Ranch!

Dear Jessie,
My wife is suggesting we go RVing as our traveling lifestyle including my dialysis trips. She believes we can have fun, see things, meet people and have a life. Is it really that bearable when you are in a wheelchair? I love sightseeing.
I want to hear from people like me; war vet blown up ! I am a big guy 6’4 400 lbs
We need a wide door RV Motorhome with lift or ramp and good generator.

Hi Larry,
Let me first say “Thanks You” for serving our country. It is so greatly appreciated.
Newmar (Google Newmar RV) make 3 different RV models designed and build for those in wheelchairs. Also, Startrak (Google Stratraks Mobility) have a chair lift where you transfer from the wheelchair to the power lift chair. The power lift chair moves you in and out of the RV.
Hope you find this information helpful.
I would like to know what other members of the club use to access their RV.

Enjoyed the 2014 Rally immensely! Visiting with old friends and making new friends. We gathered some very helpful information and ideas to make for more accessibility and a better life style. We had so many fun activities and can’t remember when we’ve laughed so much. Thanks again Mark and Karen for putting on such a wonderful rally!.

I enjoyed seeing the pictures from the rally shared on Facebook and reading people’s comments. I wish we could have been there. It was my plan to bring my son up there, but due to medical issues I decided it wouldn’t be wise to be so far from his doctors. Maybe we will be able to make it to the next one.

, I’m trying to make sense out of this site. Your is the latest response I found.
If this is still a viable site, someone please call me at 479-217-0711. I need to make contact with other handicap rvers.
Hi, I am looking for a RV for 1 adult & 3 children. One of my children is in a wheelchair and needs 24 hour care. She loves to wash her hands , take baths , music and watch tv. I need a lift as well. I want her to enjoy the world as a ” normal” being. I am in nursing school right now and have 3 semesters left. When I’m done I’d like to travel w/ kids for summer and return for kids school year and possible my new job. As I can see the world , she can too. My freedom gives her freedom and quality of life…” the idea of compassion is to have reminders everywhere , so that we bring out the best in ourselves.” 505-504-3095 Albuquerque.
